About

A little coffee, a lot of heart, and a whole lot of real food.

Mission

At My Cup of Coco, our mission is to guide women in trusting the process — nourishing themselves and their families with grace, simplicity, and joy.

We combine evidence-based nutrition with real-life wellness — sharing practical tools, recipes, and inspiration that help women feel grounded, energized, and connected to what matters most. Rooted in wellness, dusted in glitter — always.

Values

Our vision is to create a space where women feel seen, supported, and inspired to nurture their health and their homes with confidence and joy.

By blending functional wellness principles with farm-to-table living and a sprinkle of everyday grace, My Cup of Coco reminds women that wellness isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence, purpose, and the beauty found in the process.

About Me

My name is Nicole but most people call me Coco and I am the creator of My Cup of Coco (Previously Practical Mama Wellness). I created this company with the hopes of bringing functional medicine, sustainability, nutrition, and practicality into the home of every family.

Personally, I am a wife and mom. I am passionate about my faith and iced coffee. I also consider myself to be a glitter enthusiast (and sometimes a comedian).

Professionally, I am a registered nurse with my BSN degree from Franciscan University and my MScN degree from the National University of Natural Medicine. I chose the route of functional nutritionist instead of a dietician route, due to the flexibility to practice in a more holistic & functional medicine manner. I am also a member of the American Nutrition Association, Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine, and North American Lourdes Volunteers.

I have seen the ins and outs of the traditional healthcare system as a nurse. Traditional nursing no longer paralleled with my original desire to be a nurse.

I never desired to be a pill-pusher, a money-maker for the hospital’s CEO, or overworked to the point of crumbling. In 2021, started my studies at the National University of Natural Medicine and I never once regretted leaving traditional medicine.

Never forget that you are valuable, you are loved, and you are enough.

In Him,
Coco
